Our mission is to provide transformational experiences that inspire commitment to creating equitable, sustainable solutions

for a more just and peaceful world.

Our Vision

The SOL Center works with strategic partners to support, develop and deliver educational programs, innovative experiential learning, seminars, and summits, that support collaboration across sectors and borders to drive progress on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

The SOL Center brings together local and international learners, practitioners, and leaders to collaboratively engage

in place-based education, problem solving, and research within host culture contexts.

This cross-pollination of diverse cultural and ancestral wisdom, ideas, and practices generates innovative solutions that help drive progress on global and local initiatives like Hawai‘i’s Aloha + Challenge.
